When you choose to design your own sign, please keep the following in mind: Viewing distance is a primary factor. A magnetic sign is difficult to read at over 50 MPH. For your main message, stick to fonts that are easy to read. Your sign's lettering must be distinguishable from its surroundings. The viewer's ability to correctly read the message is improved by individual letter distinction. The characteristics of the letters which make them individually distinguishable from other letters are dependent upon choosing the right typestyles and spacing. When you don't have room for lettering as large as you'd like, try using light colored letters on a dark background. The contrast will make the lettering appear larger and viewers will find it easier to read. Black or navy on yellow, yellow on black, and white on navy, black or forest green are among the most popular. Adding a graphic image will help to increase the appeal of your signs.

Before You Apply Magnetic Signs be sure your magnetic signs and your vehicle are clean and dry. Lay the signs flat for a time so that they can regain their shape and will lay flat. It is best if your vehicle has been waxed not less than two months ago.
